 Library Policies

Students will virtually visit the library once a week with their class during their Specials time. Books are borrowed for a one week period and are returned on the classroom's library day. Students may renew a book if they have not had time to finish it or need the book for a classroom report/project.

Weekly overdue notices will go home with the students each Friday. This is just a reminder that your student has books that were not returned on their library day. The estimated fine listed on the notice is the cost to replace a book that is lost or damaged. After a book is a month overdue the student is not allowed to check out any new books until the fee is satisfied.

Checkout limits by grade:

• Kindergarten: 1 book

• 1st Grade: 2 books

• 2nd, 3rd, 4th Grades: 3 books
